I create three-dimensional paper artwork by layering and binding 8–18 sheets of 65 lb laser-cut colored paper to build depth and intricate detail. Each work begins as a design I manually reinterpret on the computer as a hand-drawn vector framework, shaped line by line. From this digital foundation, I develop layered compositions that introduce color, depth, and subtle reveals of detail. I refine the vectors, adjust the geometry, and test color relationships until the structure feels balanced. Each layer is then individually exported, laser cut, reviewed, and hand-trimmed for precision before being carefully aligned, assembled, and bound using a custom jig. The finished piece is mounted to a trimmed mat and prepared for framing.

Much of my work reinterprets historical designs, drawing inspiration from periods spanning antiquity and the Middle Ages through to modern art. By blending a deep appreciation for history with contemporary technology, I create pieces that are both rooted in tradition and strikingly original.
